The American Red Cross is a humanitarian organization, led by volunteers, that provides relief to victims of disasters and helps people prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies. It is not a government agency nor it is funded by the government.

- Assisted 713 families during local disasters
- Public education programs reached 12,473 people
- Fire prevention taught to 5,489 children
- 9,185 smoke alarms, 4,617 carbon monoxide detectors, and 214 deaf smoke alarms.
- 31 weather radios and 2,737 nine-volt batteries distributed throughout the Tri-State Area.

- Educated and trained 15,216 employees at area worksites.
- Provided new disaster kits and first aid kits to 3,063 local companies.
- Sold 22 AEDs and began educating area workplaces about the advantages.

- Trained 110 youth last year in the Leadership Development Center.
- Recruited and placed 311 youth volunteers in ongoing programs.
- Involved 695 youth in short term projects.

- Trained 74 people from area churches in the 16th Annual Church Nurses & Ushers Workshop.
