The Cincinnati American Red Cross, through its network of chapters, service delivery units and national headquarter operations, provides emergency services to our community 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year. Through an extensive network of well-trained volunteers and generous donations from people throughout the country, the Red Cross is able to provide these services in sixteen counties throughout Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana in which we serve.
The mission of American Red Cross Disaster Services is to ensure nationwide response, preparedness, community disaster education, mitigation, and disaster planning that will provide the American people with quality services delivered in a uniform, consistent, and responsive manner. In addition to these services, the Cincinnati Red Cross also responds to emergencies through its Armed Forces Emergency Services, International Social Services, and Health and Safety Services. In the last year alone, the Cincinnati Red Cross has touched thousands of lives by meeting needs following a disaster, helping to get loved ones home from the military during an emergency, training people in first aid, CPR, and swimming courses.
