Gain the Skills and Confidence You Need to Be the Best Babysitter on the Block!
Not only will you learn how to care for children and infants and perform the basic child-care skills in the core Babysitter's Training course, you will also take the next steps to become certified in First Aid and Infant and Child CPR. Additional lessons and activities will focus on leadership, creating a business plan, disaster preparedness and more*. Cool new take-home training materials will help you get the job done right - a handbook, emergency reference guide, and a CD-ROM. And the camp includes making a first aid kit you can take on the job. All will receive a Babysitter's Training t-shirt.
It's fun, fast-paced, and interactive! It will teach you to be a good leader and role model, make good decisions, solve problems, handle emergencies and learn business skills such as writing a resume and interviewing for a job. Register today! Space is limited!
* Optional module includes information on severe allergies and how to use an epinephrine auto-injector. You will practice with an epinephrine auto-injector training device - no needle; no medication. Specific parental permission is required for this module.

General Information on Regularly Scheduled Babysitter's Training Classes
With Babysitter’s Training you'll gain the skills and confidence to be a great babysitter. The course is fun and fast-paced with hands-on activities, exciting video, role-plays and lively discussions.
You’ll learn to be the best babysitter on the block. Plus, you’ll gain the confidence to make smart decisions and stay safe in any babysitting situation.
You’ll learn how to—
- Supervise children and infants.
- Perform basic child-care skills such as diapering and feeding.
- Choose safe, age-appropriate games and toys.
- Handle bedtime and discipline issues.
- Identify safety hazards and prevent injuries.
- Care for common injuries and emergencies such as choking, burns, cuts and bee stings.
- Communicate effectively with parents.
- Find and interview for babysitting jobs
